We are looking for a Network Engineer for one of our clients in Brussels.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the daily management of network equipment (Firewalls, Switching & Routing, Load Balancing, DNS, Proxies, …)
• You will contribute to incident resolution by representing the network team for the above scope
• You will assist project teams with your networking technology expertise during projects assigned to you. You will ensure that the solutions offered are aligned with security policies and document this.
• You will manage all requests respecting the bank's security rules.
• You will be part of a shift-based on-call service that can be called exceptionally in the event of a P1/P2 incident

Requirements:

• Languages: English (mandatory);
• You have (at least) 5 years of experience
• Experience with network equipment, daily management, incident solving and migration/upgrade projects
• Senior experience with the following products: Cisco switching & routing, F5 load balancing, Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls and Infoblox
• Team player
• Quick self-starter, pro-active attitude
• Good communication skills
• Good analytical and synthesis skills
• Autonomous & committed
• Ability to work in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment
• Capable to operate within predefined processes and procedure framework
