Operations Assistant Road (Healthcare)

About the role
As an Operations Assistant, you will join our Road department, specializing in road transport (groupage). In addition to supporting our transport planners with various administrative tasks, you will play a vital role in managing healthcare shipments, ensuring compliance with GDP guidelines and maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Duties:

• Processing incoming orders (receiving, checking, and coordinating with transport planning);
• Following up on transport orders (collection and delivery);
• Managing healthcare-specific shipments;
• Preparing and verifying transport documents (ADR, CMR, customs, etc.);
• Handling and analysing problems, including healthcare-specific escalations;
• Collaborating with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams to develop solutions;
• Registering deviations and maintaining accurate shipment records;
• Performing various administrative tasks such as checking incoming invoices and preparing transport orders.

• You recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree, or you have already some initial experience in road transportation;
• You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and love solving puzzles;
• Knowledge of GDP or healthcare logistics? That’s a plus! If not, we’ll teach you;
• You’re fluent in Dutch and English;
• You’re organized, proactive, and ready to make a difference.
