Company Information: Your team and your responsibilities:

• Purchase vehicle parts or raw materials for current and future models/vehicles
• Negotiate with our suppliers to achieve the best cost reductions
• Manage all commercial issues related to your portfolio of responsibility
• Make appropriate supplier selection recommendations to senior management
• Develop comprehensive understanding of technological and market trends within the automotive industry
• Work closely with Global Toyota Purchasing, develop commodity strategies at regional level and have direct input towards global strategies

Your Profile:

• You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
• You have a university degree or higher education in business, purchasing or engineering
• You have business understanding and affinity with automotive products
• You are results driven and able to break down complex issues into manageable portions
• You have good communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• You have highly developed analytical skills, accuracy and reliability
• You can work independently in multi-disciplinary teams
• You are computer literate (MS Excel, Power Point)
• You are willing to travel up to 20%

• Belgium - Brussels (Zaventem): Toyota Motor Europe, Technical Centre

• An 18-months training program (on top of the daily job)
  • On the job training
  • Classroom training (Toyota Way, Toyota Production System…)
  • Experiential training (5-6 weeks Line training at an European Manufacturing Company…)
• Evolution towards the “Specialist” grade after graduation
