Position: Senior PHP Architect
Location: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid: 2 days per week in the office)
Languages Required: French OR Dutch + English
we are looking for a PHP professional to work both as Technical PHP Referent and a PHP Architect, covering responsibilities from technical analysis to project support and quality management.
Technical and Soft Skills:
- Extensive experience (>15 years) in PHP 7 and 8, Java Script, Mysql, Apache and Linux.
- Extensive experience in Symfony (10+ years) and javascript language and frameworks like React JS (> 5 years)
- Strong expertise in testing tools (PHPUnit, Codeception), CI/CD tools (Jenkins), and debugging tools
- Solid knowledge of Web protocols (REST, SOAP), databases (My SQL, No SQL), and version control (Git).
- Familiarity with Docker, Open Shift/Kubernetes and cloud solutions.
- Experience with, infrastructure collaboration, and establishing operational standards is important.
- Extensive experience managing the PHP team's skill development, ensuring high standards for performance and maintenance.
Preferable Skills
- Experience with Bootstrap, CSS, React, Webpack Encore
- Strong understanding of middleware technologies (Apache, Nginx, PHP-FPM, Varnish, Memcache, Redis, Sol R, LDAP, Active Directory, SAML).
