What's in the name?

As Product Manager you are part of the international Sales and Marketing team based in Europe and the US. In this role you will work in the first place in close partnership with the Sales team members as well as the Business leaders. The role requires some travelling to customers, expect 30% more or less.

The key responsibilities of the role include the following:

• Introduction and evaluation of market and competitive information as well as industry-related trends and developments.
• Identification of customer needs and development of requirement profiles for existing and new products.
• Product life cycle management, including managing product pricing and quality, continuously improving position & profitability of current products, and rationalization of product line/pricing to drive portfolio profitability.
• Track and analyze global sales growth, margin, competitive pricing and issues for product portfolio.
• Provides regular reports on performance.
• Development of product/market segment strategies incl. operational implementation.
• Work cross-functionally to assure sufficient product supply for the defined business segment.
• Define products within the portfolio that are MTS/MTO to streamline production. For products
  where we are constrained, leads process for filter prioritization with regional sales teams and works with operations/supply chain to execute.
• Control global stock situation (plant + regional warehouses)
• Assist in creating product requirements documents.
• Evangelize the product internally and externally.
• Close cooperation with internal departments (including sales, production, marketing and
  controlling) and external cooperation partners.
• Lead all Marketing Communication activities.

Do I have what it takes?

As Product Manager you have following added values:

• Master's degree in science, Engineering or Marketing or equivalent through experience
• 3 years + work experience in a similar role in an international environment in glass, architecture,
  automotive, building envelope
• Fluent in English, further foreign language skills an advantage
• Independent and analytical way of working as well as entrepreneurial thinking

The working location will be ideally in Mechelen, Belgium (HQ) but also could be in Germany and/or Europe for a hybrid role if needed.

You will be reporting to the Sales Director.
