What will you be doing in this role:
You will be responsible for the initial phases (such as RFPs and Price Proposals), planning and cost estimation, implementation, and management of complex projects, with a focus on:

• Managing time, cost, and quality across all aspects of the assigned project(s).
• Coordinating with the customer to manage and fulfill project requirements.
• Leading and motivating project teams by providing clear guidance and work assignments.
• Applying standard project management techniques in line with Prince2 methodology (e.g., change control, risk/issue management).
• Developing and maintaining project plans in Service Now and ensuring alignment with project management best practices.
• Identifying, planning, and allocating resources to meet project milestones, and initiating corrective actions when necessary.
• Using Enterprise Business Applications (EBA) to monitor and control project financials and perform project management tasks related to procurement processes.
• Monitoring and controlling project progress to ensure resources are used effectively, within budget, and on time.
• Maintaining effective communication with various stakeholders through briefings and organized meetings.
• Ensuring alignment with program requirements and contributing to relevant reports.
• Following project management best practices and maintaining liaison with other Project Managers to ensure integrity and coherence across systems and capabilities.

Requirements
What do you need to succeed in this position?

• A Master's degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline with 5 years post related experience. Or a Bachelor's degree with 8 years post related experience.
• A recognised project management qualification in the Project Management of major communication and/or command and control/management information system for a large organisation. The lack of formal project qualification may be compensated by the demonstration of expertise in the domain.
• Experience in applying multi-discipline engineering and management techniques in the acquisition of complex communication and information systems. Proactive attitude in seeking and maintaining trust from stakeholders.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with good briefing skills.
• An active clearance of NATO Secret level is mandatory

Desirable Experience and Education:

• Extensive experience with project planning toolsets, preferably Service Now.
• A recognised Service Management qualification (such as ITIL Foundation, ITIL specialist courses).
• Experience in private and/or public cloud infrastructure deployment, user and application migration projects (Iaa S, Paa S, Saa S) and transition of projects to services and operations.
• Experience and certification in Agile Project Management (Agile PM, Scrum)
• Experience and certification in Service Management (i.e. ITIL V3 or V4)
• Experience in small, medium and large IT implementation projects.
• Experience of creating Price Proposals and Invitation for Bids competition packages to industry
• Experience of leading Project Boards and Senior Management escalation Project Boards
• Experience of proficiently and professionally managing internal and external customers (such as the NATO Enterprise).
• Experience in supplier management, negotiations, conflict resolution and contract management
• Experience in managing external contracts and contractors
• Experience in procurement, logistics, testing, change management and asset management.
• Experience of mentoring and supporting more junior PMs
• Experience in creating and leading high performance delivery teams
• Experience in communications in front of higher management and large groups (briefings, written and oral presentations).
• Experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements
• A thorough knowledge of English or French, both written and spoken, is essential and some knowledge of the other is desirable.
