R&D People Data Analytics Lead
This is an outstanding opportunity for a talented person to join the Research & Development (R&D) HR team as People Data and Analytics Lead. Reporting to the Head of Talent and DEI for R&D, this is an important global role responsible for the implementation of key projects to deliver our people in support of the 15000 people who make up our R&D organisation.
This role provides you with a fantastic opportunity to lead a small team to deliver R&D key people, data, and analytics (PDA) priorities. Leveraging your data expertise, you will be a key member of the R&D Talent & DEI team and work closely with Business leaders through the R&D HR Leadership team to translate workforce strategic priorities into potential advanced analytics opportunities; prioritise business demands and provide insight for the Global People and Organisation Effectiveness COE (Centre of Excellence) to build the best products and solutions for long term success.

In this role you will be
- Translating business needs into the strong analytical solutions
- Providing a solution orientated approach to the R&D People Team, building capabilities and insight knowledge for the HR group to self-manage data insights
- Bringing external trends into the R&D HR team to challenge and provide though leadership around data analytics
- Supporting the R&D leadership team on the deployment of key enterprise-wide changes, listening interventions for R&D including One80 and the GSK Survey, and capability PDA work
- Ensuring that all the solutions meet data privacy requirements and are compliant with internal and external regulations
- Proposing solutions that would help predict and/or prevent specific outcomes and Identifying opportunities to automate routine HR tasks
Please note, this role may be subject to minimal business travel.

Basic Qualifications & Skills:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Have multiple years’ experience in a data analytical role
- Experience of working in Pharma
- Fluent spoken and written command of English language
- Experience with transitions and change management activities
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical mindset, data-driven approach, ability to understand business insights, metrics, and market, find the space for improvements in cooperation with the Centre of Excellence
- Be excellent at time management, planning and organizational skills and have a focus on getting things done.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Please note the following skills are not necessary, just preferred, if you do not have them, please still apply:
- Experience with Workday, Visier and or other HR systems could be an asset.
- Good knowledge of MS Office Applications.
