Packaging PMO - LATAM (Fixed Term 12 Months)
This position reports to Procurement LATAM structure and can be based in Sao Jose dos Campos, Brazil, or Cali, Colombia.

What will you do
The Procurement Project PMO is responsible for:

• Ensuring the successful execution of multiple packaging procurement projects related to cost reduction, complexity reduction, reliability improvement, meeting timelines, and aligning with business objectives.

• The PMO will drive and support the execution of the sourcing projects and is the point of interaction between the Category Managers, Supply chain functions, R&D, and Franchise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Execution

o Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans for each procurement project, considering packaging requirements.
o Ensure projects are executed according to defined timelines and objectives leading project meetings, meeting minutes, follow ups, etc

• Stakeholder Collaboration and Influence:

o Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand packaging needs and expectations
o Influence decision-making processes related to packaging projects by providing insights and recommendations on how to execute them better.

• Pipeline Management:

o Support project ideation workshops to identify and evaluate potential packaging projects.
o Work on building a robust pipeline of opportunities by assessing project feasibility and alignment with business goals.

• CIP Tracker:

o Track Projects Savings and update Savings Control System (Planisware)
o Monitore and report Savings on Monthly Financial Closing
o Consolidade and Report Global Savings for Projects Initiatives

• Rubicon Program:

o Track Global initiatives for Cost Reduction Projects – Savings, Implementation, Pipeline, etc
o Support Global Meetings for Cost Reduction Projects – calendar, agenda, invitation, reports

• Data Management:

o Establish and maintain a centralized system for project data management.
o Ensure accurate and up-to-date information is available for all procurement projects.

• Resource Allocation:

o Collaborate with category managers to allocate appropriate resources for each packaging project.
o Optimize resource utilization across multiple projects to meet timelines.

• Expense Management and Budget Support:

o Manage project expenses related to packaging procurement projects.
o Support budget cycles by providing input on resource and cost requirements for upcoming projects.

• Risk Management:

o Identify and assess potential risks associated with packaging procurement projects.
o Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.

• Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

o Implement performance monitoring mechanisms to track the progress of multiple projects.
o Generate regular reports for stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and areas needing attention.

• Communication and Documentation:

o Guarantee projects approvals flow according to Project Governance Steps and related Documentation
o Facilitate effective communication among project teams, stakeholders, and relevant departments.
o Maintain comprehensive documentation for all packaging projects, including project plans, progress reports, and lessons learned.

• Continuous Improvement:

o Identify opportunities for process improvement within the PMO and implement enhancements.
o Conduct post-project reviews to gather insights for improving future procurement projects.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

• Proven experience in project management or related roles, showcasing a track record of successfully managing projects or contributing to project success;

• Strong analytical abilities to assess project data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey project information effectively to diverse audiences, including stakeholders and team members.

• Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines efficiently.

• Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges that may arise during project execution and implement effective solutions.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Language skills: Proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred
