What can we offer?
Working for us gives you the chance to directly impact the people strategy by overseeing the recruitment and management of talent across the region. Reporting to the Global Talent Acquisition Director, the Regional Talent Acquisition Lead (Americas) role enables you to apply a proactive, strategic lens to our talent acquisition strategy, to enable continuous improvement and build metrics that shape decision making. This is an opportunity to directly impact the success of dss+ talent strategy and impact our clients across the region.
What will you do?
This role will be responsible for leading the regional dss+ recruitment team strategically and operationally to identify, attract and engage talented people to support our growth strategy. You will lead a small team of recruiters and will work with our regional People & Culture team to understand the talent needs and ensure we build a robust pipeline of talent for today and for our future. You will be hands on, providing end to end recruitment services to our regional business teams. You will enable the growth of dss+ Employer Brand, considering our unique position in operations consulting.
The role can be based out of our offices in Houston, TX, Wilmington, DE or Sao Paulo, Brazil. In addition to fluent English, applicants should also speak either Portuguese or Spanish.
More specifically, you will:
- Act as a subject matter expert to design, develop and execute a recruitment strategy that delivers against the business plan
- Serve as a trusted partner to dss+ leaders and the People & Culture team on the talent pipeline, recruitment metrics and forward looking indicators to support our talent selection process
- Live and breathe the dss+ Core Values and Mission Critical Behaviors, and encourage others to do the same. More information about our core values can be found here: https://www.consultdss.com/about/core-values/
- Define best practice recruitment models aligned with the dss+ business strategy and business priorities
What you will bring to the role:
You are passionate about identifying and sourcing new talent in a dynamic, consulting context. You have demonstrated experience designing recruitment strategies in a professional services organisation with a successful track record as a true collaborator and implementer. You’re comfortable with ambiguity, being able to deliver tangible outcomes and interacting with stakeholders across the organisation.
Qualifications:
To be successful, you’ll have:
- At least 5 years’ experience of recruitment within a management consulting firm
- Proven-track record of leading a team of recruiters at a regional or global level
- Demonstrated capability as a hands on, end to end recruiter with an established candidate network, ideally in operations consulting
- Demonstrated experience designing recruitment metrics to support forward looking decisions and the dss+ talent attraction strategy
- Excellent ability to evaluate needs and present effective solutions to our People & Culture business partners, strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills in order to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong strategic thinking, prioritization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to change priorities as needed
- Above all, you’ll thrive in a fast paced, rapidly growing consulting environment.
- You’ll speak English fluently and either Portuguese or Spanish
We have a strong growth trajectory and a global footprint, which means unprecedented opportunity for the people on our teams to advance their career.
