Senior Backend Software Engineer

We are looking for people who can bring their architecture, implementation, and communication skills and build products from top-to-bottom.

Responsibilities

• Develop multiple projects, sometimes in parallel
• Design features for performance, scale, and security
• Work in a fast-paced, tight-knit team
• Collaborate with product management and sales to rapidly iterate on products
• Play an influential role in a small, but growing company

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of software development experience
• Experience working with SQL
• Experience working with backend technologies, ideally Python
• Mastery of building APIs and using external REST APIs
• Mastery of building APIs and using external REST APIs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with modern software engineering tools and patterns
• Experience with Postgre SQL, Big Query, Redis, and Post GIS
• Background in ETL pipelines
• Experience with microservice architectures
