Position Summary
Accounting Associate, Accounting
Assists in the preparation of the Hospital’s monthly and annual financial statements and account analysis. Prepares management reports in a timely and efficient manner using Infinium to provide information for decision-making.
On a practical level, you will

• Assist in daily accounting functions, account analysis and reconciliation.
• Prepare complete, accurate and timely internal monthly statements distributed as part of the monthly management report package.
• Assist in the analytical review process completed as part of annual audits.
• Assist with financial reporting and other ad hoc analyses as requested..

Qualifications

• Graduate of a university business program or a college accounting program
• 3 years of experience in accounting.
• Proven problem-solving, analytical skills and use of GAAP principles.
• Demonstrated organizational skills, including the ability to exercise judgement in determining pities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a team environment.
• Advanced skill set in the Microsoft Office tools, including Excel. Knowledge of Access an asset.
