About Island Gold District: Alamos Gold’s Island Gold District will become one of the largest and lowest-cost gold mines in Canada. With the two mines within the district, Island Gold and Magino employ over 900 team members who work in the underground and open pit operations and are located in northern Ontario, just east of the town of Dubreuilville, 83 kilometres northeast of Wawa. Primary Responsibilities:

Configure and maintain the MS4M Dispatch System, including updates, system data review and correction, and hardware/network maintenance coordination.
Maintain system and data accuracy throughout the shift.

Assign blocks to loading units and associate destinations.
Change dump location of HU when destination differs due to material change.
Ensure status compliance by operators.
Ensure mine map is up to date.

Serve as the primary liaison for MS4M vendor communication, updates, and support tickets.
Support production by participating in daily control meetings, using the MS4M system for load and haul fleet productivity, and providing weekly feedback to the Mining Superintendent.
Contribute to blast gas clearing operations and other duties as required.
Lead training and coaching for operators and supervisors on the MS4M system, assisting in the upgrade and onboarding of new equipment.
Ensure compliance with relevant safety and operational standards.

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum Secondary School Diploma completion.
Minimum 2 years of experience operating mine fleet management systems (e.g., Wenco, Modular, Mine Star, Jigsaw, MS4M).
5+ years of production mining experience preferred.
Working proficiency in MS Office and CAD or mine design program
Exceptional communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a proven safety and housekeeping track record.
A preference will be given to those with leadership experience within an open-pit mining environment, demonstrating strong teamwork capabilities.

Working Conditions:

The ideal candidate for the role will work a rotation of 14 days on, 14 days off (12-hour days)
