Creative
Ottawa
FULL TIME
September 9, 2024
Who we are
spark* is an advertising and public affairs agency headquartered in Ottawa. Our people are a collection of passionate, creative, data and results oriented storytellers who are the best at what they do.
We are known for our awareness and advocacy campaigns but we are so much more than that. Our team has a diverse background and works to bring the best to our clients every day. From branding and communications to social media and analytics we love coming up with new ideas and are always learning and exploring.
We believe in beautiful design and crisp messaging to influence, persuade, create awareness, and spark action. We are lucky to work with some truly fantastic and diverse clients that include non-profits, charities, unions, associations, coalitions and corporations.
The people who work at spark* are politics and news junkies and they are not shy about letting you know about where they stand on the #cndpoli issues of the day. We are firm believers in an office pizza lunch, as well as a positive, encouraging work environment. Professional development is very important to us, but so is having a well-stocked snack cupboard.
So, what’s the opportunity?
We are looking for a Creative with 3-5 years of experience to join the team. In this role, you would work across digital, print, and social, finding creative solutions to address our varied client’s needs.
We want you to be interested in all aspects of our services. One day, you could be working on a DPS ad for a luxury car, the next wireframing a website, or working on a social campaign.
You will be involved in all creative process and development phases across various projects, so you must be comfortable managing assignments from concept to completion.
Ultimately, you have a passion for great creative and clever solutions and can deliver high-quality work to deadlines collaboratively and as part of a team.
This role is a hybrid position for candidates based in Ottawa/Gatineau, but we are also willing to consider candidates working remotely from other locations in Canada.
