Finance Team Leader

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of financial analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Manage day-to-day activities, and meeting regularly with team members
- Promote a continuous improvement mindset, encouraging innovation in financial processes and tools.
- Oversee the financial planning process for OMA and project-related expenses, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
- Develop models to support scenario analysis, forecasting, and long-term planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial forecasts with operational goals and identify risks and opportunities.
- Provide accurate, timely, and insightful financial reports and dashboards to senior management and business partners.
- Lead monthly and quarterly variance analysis, identifying key drivers and providing explanations for variances against budget and forecast.
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and corporate policies.
- Provide financial guidance to non-financial stakeholders, translating financial information into actionable insights.
- Identify and implement improvements in financial processes, reporting tools, and systems to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead adherence to financial policies and internal controls within the team.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA designation preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance principles, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis, with advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with financial systems and reporting tools
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts for various audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
