Wage: $38.74/hour
Shift: Day shift (flexibility with working overtime, and on weekends, as necessary)

Location: 560 Victoria Street North, Kitchener
Wage: $38.74/hour

Job Details:
- Provide technical support to operations; including troubleshooting, parts identification and repair of equipment
- Primary responsibility for operational performance – measured through efficiency percentages
- Act as liaison for OEM support for advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Participate in continuous improvement activities including root cause analysis and efficiency improvement initiatives.
- Perform routine corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance as needed on automation equipment
- Lead training for operators and other technicians on function and operation of equipment
- Develop operating standards and documentation
- Provide input on stock levels of spare parts as it relates to equipment
- Read and interpret schematic diagrams
- Periodic shift changes required for training, vacation coverage and special projects
- Aptitude with mechanical and electrical systems, vacation coverage for either mechanics or electricians
Job Requirements:
- Must have Industrial Electrician License (442A) or Construction and Maintenance 309A
- Experience and education in hardware and software support and troubleshooting skills
- Strong Mechanical Aptitude
- 2-5 years' industrial, electrical and mechanical experience, preferably in the food industry
- Strong knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and ability to assist all trades people as required
- Problem solving skills and good communication skills are required
- Ability to work any shift, as well as on weekends and holidays
- Must be comfortable lifting up to 50lbs as needed
