Calling all Shipper’s seeking immediate work! We have a fantastic opportunity just 10 minutes north of Barrie for an experienced Seasonal Shipping Clerk. This local distributor is an industry leading supplier of sugar bush equipment and accessories. Reporting to the Store Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting warehouse operations.
THIS JOB OFFERS …

• Day Shift (8:00am – 5:00pm) Mon – Fri / (9:00am – 4:00pm) Saturday
• $20 - $22/hr starting wage
• 40+hrs per week
• Clean and safe work environment
• Work in scenic Oro-Medonte

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING …
· Pull and pack stock, prepare orders for pickup
· Manage all orders from pick to ship
· Record tracking numbers and shipping costs on orders
· Coordinate shipments with carriers to various delivery locations
· Create shipping labels and manage Bill of Materials
· Load trucks, support warehouse to keep tidy and stocked
· Support inventory, help recycling and waste
· Support receiving clerk if needed
· Other warehouse tasks as needed
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS THAT MAKE YOU A GREAT FIT ….
· You hold a high school diploma or GED (preferred)
· 1 – 3 years’ experience in shipping and warehouse operations
· Forklift experience preferred (will train in-house)
· Own transportation and valid G license
· Basic computer skills (enter orders, print shipping labels, inventory entry)
· Flexible to work Saturdays when needed (regular occurrence)
· Able to lift up to 50lbs
· Attention detail, and strong organizational skills, able to prioritize
This is a full time, seasonal role, (November – May) each year. The qualified candidate has the opportunity to return each November, however we will accept applications from candidates who can commit to a 6 – 7 month term and flexible to work Saturdays.
