Our client, who is a leading brand in activewear, loungewear and footwear is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a maintenance technician, you will be part of the Facility team. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with material handling equipment (conveyors, sorters), understanding of basic controls, and will be able to work independently.
Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Delta, BC
Pay Range: $32-35/hour (depending on experience)
What’s the Job?

• Conduct preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance on material handling systems and physical infrastructure.
• Use our computerized maintenance management system to track equipment inventory and schedule maintenance.
• Conduct monthly inspections, respond to emergencies, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
• Assemble and install equipment such as drive motors, gearboxes, and conveyors.
• Inform DC partners of important updates and maintain a safe and sanitary environment.

What’s Needed?

• 2-3+ years of hands-on experience in facilities maintenance, including conveyor and automation systems.
• Proficiency in electrical and electronic principles, and experience with relay logic, control components, and schematics.
• Understanding of lockout/tagout procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently and adapt to varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and basic computer skills.
