What you will do

• Establish a strong security presence to deescalate and diffuse situations as needed
• Use a high level of understanding and empathy to interact with individuals on site
• Patrol the premises, provide access control and respond to emergency situations in an appropriate and timely manner
• Perform safety and security duties with the highest standards of professionalism and integrity
• Complete incident reports and required documentation for all security incidents
• Identify potential security risks and respond accordingly
• Provide excellent customer service to our clients, customers and patrons
• Respond to emergencies and escalate to law enforcement agencies as required

The Ideal Candidate

• A Valid Security License
• Willing to stand for the entire duration of the shift
• Previous security experience is required
• Prior police / military experience is preferred
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
• Willingness to attend meetings and improve skills
• Ability to work without close supervision
• Use of Force Certification is an asset
