General Manager - Dongguan

Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the construction/installation process and ensuring project milestones are met
- Managing daily plant operations, emphasizing production output, quality, and timely delivery
- Leading and developing a high-performing team of department managers and supervisors
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining strong relationships
- Maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring compliance with legal regulations
- Acting as the main point of contact with local government agencies
- Managing the P&L and executing the annual budget, including capital expenditures
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical degree
- Proven management experience as a plant manager or in manufacturing operations
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Mandarin
- Strong understanding of local regulatory compliance for plant operations
- Solid knowledge of business and management concepts (budgeting, planning, cost control, KPIs)
- In-depth knowledge of safety, quality, productivity, inventory, and stewardship processes
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Experience in setting up or relocating a factory in China
- Previous work experience in a multinational company
- Competitive salary range: RMB 1-1.2M per year
