We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Contracting and Credentialing Manager to join our healthcare organization in Bogotá, Colombia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing contracts and credentialing processes within the healthcare sector. Responsibilities:

• Manage contracting processes: Oversee the negotiation, development, and management of contracts with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other third parties.
• Credentialing and re-credentialing: Ensure that all healthcare providers are properly credentialed according to organizational policies and regulatory requirements. Manage the re-credentialing process to maintain compliance.
• Ensure regulatory compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local and international healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and industry best practices to ensure all contracts and credentialing processes meet these requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams: Collaborate with legal, compliance, and human resources departments to ensure that all contracts are aligned with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
• Database management: Maintain and update provider databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is available at all times.
• Audit and monitor: Conduct regular audits of contracts and credentialing files to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance. Address any discrepancies or issues as needed.
• Vendor and provider relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with healthcare providers, vendors, and other external partners to facilitate smooth contracting and credentialing processes.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on contracting and credentialing activities, including compliance status, contract renewals, and credentialing timelines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a contracting and credentialing role within the healthcare industry.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and compliance requirements in Colombia.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Experience with credentialing software and contract management systems.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
