You’ll be joining a centralized Benefits team that is focused on the Americas region and sits within the Org Success and Total Rewards function. About the Role
This role is based in Costa Rica and will support employees and programs across the Americas region. As a member of the Benefits Delivery team, you will directly support how benefits are coordinated and delivered at Workday, from processes and procedures, issue research and resolution, vendor integrations, systems data exchanges, reporting, and compliance for all benefit programs.

Como miembro del equipo Benefits, apoyará directamente la coordinación y entrega de prestaciones en Workday, desde los procesos y procedimientos, la investigación y resolución de problemas, las integraciones de proveedores, los intercambios de datos de sistemas, la elaboración de informes y el cumplimiento de todos los programas de prestaciones. Este puesto también tendrá funciones interfuncionales y gestionará programas como los de seguro médico, jubilación, vacaciones y permisos, seguro de vida, etc. Será un ninja capaz de ayudar en todos los programas y a todos los miembros del equipo, prestando apoyo y gestión de programas para proyectos especiales e iniciativas en curso.
About You
This is an individual contributor role on the Americas Benefits team, partnering closely with cross functional stakeholders to ensure robust and holistic program management, execution, and support for employees in the Americas region (US, Canada, Mexico, and Costa Rica). As a member of Benefits Delivery, you'll be responsible for:
  • Day to day execution and tracking of new and recurring tasks as assigned to the Benefits Delivery Operations team.
  • Day to day handling of Workday Help and other Workmate support requests
  • Participate in benefits program projects, implementations, and launch activities as assigned.
  • Collaborate with and provide support to other benefits team members as needed, including being available and responsive through Slack, email, and attending meetings as appropriate
  • Support Workmate facing events and initiatives such as new hire orientation, annual enrollment events, and site activities as needed.
  • Participate in team learning opportunities such as reading workmate communications, attending webinars, and completing additional training as needed to stay current on benefit programs.
  • Represent Workday Benefits with professionalism, empathy, and enthusiasm.
  • Develop strong working relationships and collaborate with a cross-functional group of partners, both internal and external
  • Adapt and drive improvements and continuously simplify processes in ways that enhance Workmate experience while meeting compliance and legal requirements
Se trata de un puesto de colaborador individual en el equipo Benefits de América, en estrecha colaboración con las partes interesadas funcionales para garantizar una gestión, ejecución y asistencia sólidas e integrales de los programas para los empleados de la región de América (EE. UU., Canadá, México y Costa Rica). Como miembro del equipo de Benefits, será responsable de lo siguiente:
  • Ejecución y seguimiento diarios de las tareas nuevas y recurrentes asignadas al equipo de operaciones de Benefits Delivery.
  • Ejecución de proyectos especiales asignados, incluida la preparación de presentaciones y el análisis sobre diversos programas de prestaciones.
  • Redacción de comunicaciones que expliquen y describan los programas de prestaciones para los empleados.
  • Manejo diario de la Ayuda de Workday y otras solicitudes de asistencia de otros Workmates.
  • Participar en proyectos de programas de prestaciones, implementaciones y actividades de lanzamiento, según se le asignen.
  • Colaborar y brindar apoyo a otros miembros del equipo de prestaciones según sea necesario, que incluye estar disponible y ser receptivo a través de Slack, correo electrónico y asistir a reuniones según corresponda.
  • Apoyar los eventos e iniciativas de los Workmates, como la orientación de nuevos empleados, los eventos anuales de inscripción y las actividades de la sede, según sea necesario.
  • Participar en oportunidades de aprendizaje en equipo, como la lectura de las comunicaciones de Workmates, la asistencia a webinarios y la realización de capacitación adicional, según sea necesario para mantenerse al día sobre los programas de prestaciones.
  • Representar a Workday Benefits con profesionalidad, empatía y entusiasmo.
  • Desarrollo de sólidas relaciones de trabajo y colaboración con un grupo multidisciplinario de partners, tanto internos como externos.
  • Capacidad de adaptarse e impulsar mejoras y simplificar continuamente los procesos de forma que se mejore la experiencia de los Workmates al tiempo que se cumplen los requisitos legales y de cumplimiento normativo.
Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years directly supporting a range of benefit programs in US/Canada/Mexico/Costa Rica, including but not limited to health, retirement, pension, leave, time off, disability, spending accounts, voluntary, and ancillary plans
  • Demonstrated understanding of legal requirements and compliance activities for each in scope country (US/Canada/Mexico/Costa Rica)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience communicating benefit programs to employees, assisting them with understanding how to access their coverage and resolving any complaints or issues. Must provide excellent customer service with a consistent focus on employee education, advocacy, and program promotion and ability to communicate both in person and through written correspondence (Zoom, Slack, Email)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a large high volume, fast paced environment - tech industry strongly preferred
  • Intermediate level expertise in G Suite tools
  • Minimum 2 years experience using Workday HCM, leave of absence, time off, and benefits administration strongly preferred
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish fluency, written and verbal)

Debe proporcionar un excelente servicio al cliente con un enfoque congruente en la educación de los empleados, la defensa y la promoción del programa y la capacidad de comunicarse tanto en persona como a través de correspondencia escrita (Zoom, Slack, correo electrónico).
  • Mínimo de 2 años de experiencia en Workday HCM, permisos de ausencia y administración de prestaciones.
  • Bilingüe (inglés y español fluidos, escrito y oral)
Otras cualificaciones
  • Conocimientos de nivel intermedio de las herramientas de G Suite
  • Experiencia con grandes volúmenes y entornos altamente dinámicos; preferentemente de la industria de la tecnología.
