TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Compliance:

• Provide advice on general, recurring questions in the area of Compliance (e.g. Anti-Corruption, Anti-Trust, Conflict of interest), including advice on the correct interpretation of LPC related Bayer policies as determined by OM/TL/Specialist.
• Support TPO / Gifts / FMV checks and approvals as determined by OM/TL/Specialist.
• Provide advice and contribute to approval workflows in the area of Code Compliance as determined by OM/TL/Specialist.
• Advise on and handle approval workflows for donations and PH Events as determined by OM/TL/Specialist.
• Handle the Integrated Compliance Management for AC & AT as determined by OM/TL/Specialist.

Legal:

• Provide advice on general, recurring legal questions as determined by OM/TL/Specialist.

Others:

• Support trainings for compliance topics as determined by OM/TL/Specialist.
• Support LPC driven communication campaigns as determined by OM/TL/Specialist.
• Advise business and platform functions on organization and responsibilities within LPC as determined by OM/TL/Specialist.
• Caretaker of Country / Country Region as determined by OM / TL.
• Representative of LPCX in Projects / Initiatives as determined by OM/TL/Specialist.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by OM/TL/Specialist.

WHO YOU ARE

• Academic degree in Law, Compliance, Business Administration, IT, Information Security, controlling/audit or related discipline.
• At least 2 to 3 years of professional experience after graduation, in the area of compliance or legal work for an international law firm or a multinational company.
• English and Spanish language on native speaking or comparable level.
• Good communication and training skills, also vis vis non lawyers.
• Goal oriented, hands on, proactive team player.
• Good understanding of foreign cultures, ideally proven by time spent abroad.
• Good knowledge of Compliance Management Systems is desirable.
• Knowledge on anti corruption, anti trust, or laws relevant to the health care or crop science industry is helpful.
• Process and IT affinity.
• Good project management skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, and handling of management tools.
