Job description

• Carrying out independent research activities in the field of didactics, educational science or educational psychology (obligation to apply for a research grant)

• Involvement in teaching (language of instruction: English, Czech or Slovak)

• Supervision of bachelor’s and diploma theses

• Participation in international conferences

• Full-time (or as agreed)

Requirements and expectations
Following the terms of the project, a foreign academic worker is defined as „an employee who, during the last 5 years, has worked outside the territory of the Czech Republic for at least 2 years in an academic position at a university for at least 0.5 full-time, or has been a Ph D student at a university abroad. Citizens of the Czech Republic are not excluded.“

• Completed Ph D studies in general didactics, subject didactics, education science, or educational psychology

• Publication activity

• Experience in submitting and implementing research projects

• Experience of working at least 2 years at a foreign university or Ph D studies at a foreign university in the last 5 years

• Experience with inclusive education is an advantage

• High-quality written and oral communication in English (min. B2 level)

• EU research level: R2 Recognized

Estimated start date

• January 1, 2025 (or by agreement) until December 31, 2026

Salary

• Following the Internal Wage Regulations of the University and the conditions of the IMPREF project for the position of Assistant Professor, full-time 100 per cent (1.0) = CZK 70,000 per month
