Dr. Max is the leading pharmacy chain in Central Europe. In every country where we are active, Dr. Max is dedicated to improving the level of health care available by guaranteeing access to a broad assortment of medicines and pharmacy services. Our pharmacies are currently present in 6 countries (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Italy) with great expansion plans across Europe for the near future. At the moment we are looking for a Commercial Specialist/Officer who will be a member of our Strategic Sourcing team.

What will be your responsibilities?

Analyze Sales Data: Evaluate sales data to assess the business potential of our Own Label products, focusing on both Over-The-Counter (OTC) and prescription medicines (Gx). Your insights will help identify new development opportunities and directly influence the products we will offer to our customers.
Products & New Suppliers Sourcing: Scout for new suppliers for Dr. Max Own Label products worldwide, keep our products & suppliers database up-to-date, discuss business opportunities and commercial terms.
Work with Contracts: Occasionally handle commercial contracts in English.
Support Sourcing Department: Assist with contract processing and various administrative tasks.
Occasional Industry Events: Earn a chance to represent us at international pharma conferences and fairs.

What do we expect from you?

Relevant Experience: Previous up to 2 years experience in a similar or other commercially oriented position is advantageous, but a willingness to learn is more important. Basic knowledge of the pharma industry (medicines, supplements, cosmetics, or medical devices) is also a plus.
Business Thinking: Use data analysis to proactively generate and recognise new business opportunities.
Excellent Communication Skills: You will communicate with suppliers from diverse countries and cultures. You need to feel comfortable doing that in English both verbally and in writing.
Adaptability: Thrive in our small, dynamic team where creativity and out-of-the-box thinking are encouraged over strict rules and fixed processes. You should feel good in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel is essential, and experience with Microsoft Power BI is a bonus.
Language Proficiency: Advanced English and fluent Czech or Slovak.
