About the job
In the role of a Sales Manager, you will have two reporting lines: directly to a Team Leader in Czech Republic, and indirectly to the Head of Sales Industrial Applications Europe, CIS & Türkiye. You will be mainly responsible for maintaining a lucrative relationship with our customer in the Central Europe. While tending to our customer’s needs as a primary point of contact, you will obtain orders from existing, as well as potential markets. Therefore, it is important that you have a customer-centric attitude supported by a strong technical and commercial background. You should understand the unique demands of our clients and present them with tailor-made solutions. In this position, you will also see through the entire sales process from offer to cash with the support of a qualified team. During work, you will be traveling (inter)nationally approximately 20-30% of the time.

In addition, your tasks will include

• Sales forecasting, demand planning & receivables management
• Providing profound technical expertise and detailed application knowledge of customer processes and refractory products
• Financial planning related to rolling forecasts, market pricing conditions, annual business plans, inventory management
• Conducting price and contract negotiations
• Preparing quotes based on pricing strategies in alignment with RHI Magnesita commercial management standards
• Creating development plans of the customer to grow and strengthen the relation

With your great enthusiasm and creative mindset, you bring new ideas to the table, not only as an individual but also together with your colleagues. You work well in cross-functional teams and are not afraid to take responsibility and make decisions. With your hands-on mentality, structured approach and analytical skills, you proactively seek to improve the status quo. What we expect from you in terms of

Education

• High school or university degree, ideally with a technical focus

Languages

• English – Proficient/Fluent
• Czech – Proficient/Fluent
• Any other language skills will be considered an asset

Work Experience

• Several years of relevant working experience in sales
• The knowledge of the refractory industry is an advantage
