Your responsibilities
As a Senior accountant, you will be primarily responsible for the accounting agenda of German affiliate. You will be supported by German external accountants and tax advisors who provides us with statutory accounting and tax services. You will report to the Finance Director based in the Prague office and you will also cooperate with other accountants in the Czech Republic and Denmark, controllers and other internal stakeholders.
Your key duties include mainly:

• Accounting tasks in German subsidiary of NNIT
  
• Preparation and execution of General ledger postings (e.g. accruals, provisions, etc.)
  
• Cooperation with internal AP team on postings and settlement of accounts payables
  
• Supervision of and coordination with of Accounting Assistant who covers part of tasks related to German entity
  
• Cooperation with external accountants who prepare other supporting transactions required for monthly closures
  
• Recording of these transactions into our accounting SW
  
• Review of open transactions, review of general ledger, reconciliation of accounts, reconciliation of intercompany transactions and balances
  
• Cash management
  
• Cooperation with external tax advisors on VAT and CIT returns
  
• Monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting tasks
  
• Cooperation with external accountants on the preparation of financial statements and annual reports
  
• Adherence to internal policies and procedures

Other adhoc tasks based on the instructions from Finance Director

Your qualifications and experience
We are looking for a friendly colleague who loves teamwork, accounting and wants to deliver top-notch service to our stakeholders.

• You are an experienced accountant (min. 3 years)
• You are fluent in Czech and English
• At least basic knowledge of German is preferred, but not necessary
  
• You have an experience from another international company
  
• You are a pro-active detail oriented person with an analytical mindset
  
• You are reliable person, organized and willing to meet deadlines
  
• You are an experienced user of Excel (vlookup, pivot tables.. )
  
• You are not afraid to communicate in English – via emails or Teams calls
