Senior Accountant (Remote)
Full time, Prague, Czech Republic
In this role, you will support the Accounting department. You will also help lead the accounting staff.
As a Senior Accountant, you will
- Prepare monthly journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts monthly, and conduct necessary account analysis and research
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliation accurately and timely
- Prepare journal entries to record intercompany charges, depreciation and amortization and reconcile intercompany accounts monthly and correct variances
- Reconcile bank statements, fixed assets, and prepaid expenses on a monthly basis and research questionable activity
- Perform the month end closing process by ensuring month-end checklist items are processed timely and accurately
- Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process (FA and payroll, etc)
- About you
- Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or a related field
- A few years of experience in general accounting
- Proficiency with ERPs, word processing, and spreadsheets (MS Excel) required
- Proficiency in SAP (FICO) preferred
- Accounting under IFRS (International Accounting Standards) and GAAP
- Public accounting experience and CPA
- Excellent local verbal and written communication skills and in English language
