Senior Construction Project Manager (Global Workplace)

The Global Workplace department is dedicated to developing, realizing, and maintaining Jet Brains' offices globally, upholding our standard of excellence. We engage in every aspect of this process — from site selection and project supervision to employee move-ins. Our responsibilities include coordinating user needs, design requirements, deadlines, costs, and contracts while ensuring quality and facilitating collaboration between internal and external project teams. Beyond project management, you’ll also contribute to lease management and our ongoing efforts to update global standards and support change management.
We’re currently looking for a Senior Construction Project Manager to join the Execution and Delivery team in Prague.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and support our project planning and execution projects, specifically in Prague as well as other locations.
- Work closely with the Real Estate and Facility Management teams.
- Conduct agile project management and represent Jet Brains in all phases of office development projects, from feasibility studies to project documentation.
- Review, coordinate, and negotiate contracts with landlords, contractors, architects, and vendors.
- Manage deadlines, costs, and quality throughout the planning and execution phases of diverse projects.
- Identify potential risks in any project phase and develop mitigation strategies to prevent project delays and cost overruns.
- Ensure the project complies with local zoning laws, building codes, and other regulatory requirements.
- Foster smooth communication between internal and external project participants.
- Coordinate and supervise internal projects within our offices.
- Manage real estate leases and contracts, perform financial analysis to support real estate decision-making.
- Support change management processes associated with relocations, office expansions, and other transitions that affect our employees.
- Support and implement sustainability efforts.
- A master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction, or a related field.
- At least 6-10 years of professional experience in construction project management.
- High aesthetic standards and a passion for design.
- Strong motivation to work independently and collaborate in international, diverse, and multicultural teams.
- A proactive approach towards task management and communication with a structured and precise working style.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Czech.
- Knowledge of and experience with the Czech local market, regulations, and building application procedures.
- A willingness and ability to travel.
- Proficiency in common office software, project planning tools, Excel and CAD.
- A certification in project management, sustainability, or health and well-being initiatives.
- Experience in the tech sector.
- Proven skills in stakeholder management.
