Product Marketing Manager - B2B - Sales Enablement (.NET and Game Dev Tools)
Jet Brains creates tools that make professional software development a more productive and enjoyable experience for programmers worldwide.
Our .NET and game dev tools include Re Sharper (an extension for Microsoft Visual Studio), Rider (a standalone cross-platform .NET and game dev IDE), and a family of profilers and code coverage tools including dot Cover, dot Memory, dot Trace, and dot Peek. There are also Rider Flow for Unity, and many more products upcoming. The marketing for such a diverse family of tools is challenging as it combines working with huge enterprises and small game dev studios, promoting a mature product together with its up-and-coming younger siblings, and driving the adoption of IDEs for daily use along with specialized profiling tools that users launch only a few times a year.
Our Biz Dev strategy aims at enabling strong customer relationships, technological and marketing partnerships, and stable growth of the Jet Brains presence in big .NET and game dev businesses. B2B Product Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between sales, product, and marketing teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment of strategies. Passionate about empowering our sales team with the necessary tools, knowledge, and resources to drive success in the B2B market through Business Decision Makers’ audience.
As part of our team, you will work on:
Strategy:
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product stakeholders to determine sales enablement priorities.
  • Conduct interviews and analyze performance data to identify knowledge gaps across the sales team.
  • Gather and relay feedback to continuously iterate on the sales enablement strategy.
Product Positioning and Messaging:
  • Contribute to the development of high-level B2B messaging for the company addressing the needs of Business Decision Makers across large and medium businesses.
  • Create and manage consistent slide decks for sales engineers.
  • Design engaging product demo scenarios that effectively showcase our offerings.
  • Assist product and product marketing teams in creating B2B positioning for their products, including the development of buyer and user personas and compelling messaging.
Onboarding for the sales team, partners, and resellers:
  • Develop educational content related to new and updated B2B product and service offerings.
  • Organize and conduct sales training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.
  • Create onboarding materials to facilitate the smooth integration of new hires into the sales organization.
  • Collaborate with partner and resellers teams to adapt existing sales tools for partner use.
  • Organize and conduct training sessions for partners to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and resources to effectively promote Jet Brains products.
Requirements:
  • Profound practical knowledge of the B2B / Enterprise customer segment and their unique needs and challenges.
  • Successful experience marketing software or Saa S products or services to B2B / Enterprise customers.
  • An understanding of the software purchase process in companies, including decision-making personas, the decision-making process, and other aspects.
  • A general understanding of (and curiosity towards) differences between industry segments and cultures regarding marketing approaches and decision-making processes.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferable:
  • Familiarity with and understanding of Jet Brains products or similar products from other vendors.
  • Prior experience working in IT companies or a technical background.
  • A bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of proven experience in B2B Marketing, Business Development, or a related discipline.
