Senior DevOps Engineer/AWS Cloud Architect (m/w/d)

Your responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Dev Ops engineers to build, maintain, and enhance an AWS-based analytics platform
- Stakeholder management between the customer, team, and Adastra Management. Excellent communication skills and ability to discuss and debate technical topics with the customer
- Participate in and contribute to SAFE Agile and Scrum rituals, such as Program Increment planning, Sprint planning, and Stand-up calls
- Design highly available and scalable infrastructure solutions on the AWS platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and translate business requirements into scalable cloud solutions
- Architect, configure, and manage virtual private clouds (VPCs), subnets, and security groups to ensure a secure and isolated network environment
- Implement and manage network connectivity, including VPNs, Direct Connect, and Transit Gateway, to establish secure and efficient communication between on-premises and cloud environments
- Work in a Dev Ops mode to automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and management using infrastructure-as-code tools like AWS Cloud Formation, Terraform, or Ansible
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cloud infrastructure, networking, and security domains to drive continuous improvement and innovation
Required Skills, Education, Knowledge and Experience:
- Proven experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer focusing on infrastructure, networking, and security
- Strong understanding of AWS core services, including EC2, S3, VPC, Route 53, IAM, RDS, and Cloud Watch
- Hands-on experience with services like ECS, ECR, EC2, VPC, and Endpoints
- Solid understanding of network protocols, IP addressing, routing, and subnetting
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Bash
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., AWS Cloud Formation, Terraform, or Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and tools like Git, Jenkins, or Docker
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments
- Relevant AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Architect - Professional) are highly desired
