Senior Test Engineer

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases.
- Regularly review, update, and maintain existing regression tests to ensure they remain effective, relevant, and accurately validate the system's functionality.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
- Conduct manual testing, when necessary, particularly for exploratory, edge cases, and ad-hoc testing.
- Identify, log, and track defects in collaboration with the development team.
- Work closely with developers, and other stakeholders to ensure test coverage is comprehensive and that quality is embedded throughout the development process.
- Engage in discussions of requirements from the beginning of the development process to provide input on testability and ensure that quality considerations are integrated into the design and development phases.
- Teach, and openly learn from your teammates
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (e.g., unit testing, integration testing, system testing) and expertise in advanced testing techniques (e.g., Boundary Value Analysis, Equivalence Partitioning).
- Strong experience with automation and automated testcase design.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to deliver difficult feedback (e.g., defects and bugs) constructively.
- Experience with manual testing.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git Lab) and integrating automated tests into pipelines.
- Experience with Shift-Left testing and early defect detection strategies.
- Familiarity with a programming language is a plus.
- Tricentis Tosca knowledge is a plus.
- Experience in performance testing or security testing is a plus.
