Our Global Streaming Platform powers video-on-demand services like Sky Showtime, Peacock, and Showmax—and we’re looking for a Sourcing Recruiter to help us grow our amazing tech hub in Prague.
What is the plot?
Our Prague tech hub is home to around 100 brilliant minds—developers, engineers, and video-streaming experts—working together on the Global Streaming Platform. We're collaborating closely with teams in the UK, Portugal, and US to deliver world-class streaming solutions.
Our business operations team (10 people) handles everything from office management and recruitment to HR, finance, IT support, and employer branding. We make sure the hub runs smoothly for all our colleagues. Now, we’re looking for a Sourcing Recruiter to join our recruitment team and help us find the best tech talent out there.
What role will you play?
As our Sourcing Recruiter, you’ll be at the heart of our talent acquisition efforts, working alongside a Talent Acquisition Manager, an Internal Recruiter, and two RPO Recruiters fully dedicated to Sky Czech Republic. Your goal? To find top tech talent and make sure their recruitment experience is seamless and positive, every step of the way.

Source & identify qualified candidates for tech roles (developers, engineers, etc.) as our Prague hub continues to grow.

Make sure all sourcing activities are well and precisely tracked in our systems.

Build a talent pipeline through Linked In, referrals, networking events, and more.

Collaborate with the recruiter and hiring teams to understand job requirements and market trends, ensuring we attract the best talent.

Engage with candidates throughout the process, ensuring they have a positive experience and feel supported.

Get involved in employer branding initiatives to raise Sky’s profile in the tech talent community.

Provide data-driven insights to refine our sourcing strategies and boost recruitment performance.
What skills do you need to play your role well?

Experience in sourcing for tech roles, particularly through Linked In.

A solid understanding of common programming languages and technologies.

The ability to quickly grasp new technologies and trends.

Fluent English and Czech/Slovak language.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with candidates and stakeholders alike.

A proactive, self-motivated attitude and passion for matching top talent with exciting opportunities.

The ability to juggle multiple priorities while always looking for ways to improve.
