What will you do

The Sourcing Manager, Flexibles Packaging executes and implements sourcing policies and plans, identifying potential sources for flexibles packaging and its feedstocks, analyzing costs, executing the bidding and supplier review process in line with existing sourcing strategy and under the direction of the Sourcing Global Director, located in Zug, Switzerland. This role supports the supplier relationship management program by tracking suppliers OKR, following the Packaging Category leadership strategy and guidance. As the Manager, you will also measure and track performance of the Flexibles Packaging subcategories and work closely with relevant departments to support with delivery of cost, quality, service, and innovation objectives demanded by the company and its customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute operational sourcing plans for paper packaging in Europe that meet business OKRs, quality and regulatory compliance requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute timely improvement initiatives
• Support supplier relationships and contract preparation by analyzing options and tracking suppliers OKR focused on quality, cost, and delivery targets, based on category leadership guidelines
• Following existing Packaging Leadership Strategy and Guidelines, you will support bidding, supplier assessment process, as well as all contract preparation and contract finalization
• Stay up to date with industry trends and market conditions to identify and escalate potential risks and opportunities
• Locate, research, evaluate and recommend potential sources of materials & feedstock

Qualifications
What we are looking for

• 6-8 years of experience in sourcing or procurement with flexible materials
• Bachelor's degree in business, or equivalent experience
• Proven track record of driving benefits and process improvements in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong commercial, contract and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Proven ability to execute projects and achieve business goals
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in locating, researching and evaluating potential sources of materials or services
• Advanced communication skills
• Expertise in Flexibles packaging and related feedstocks
