DESMI’s Global Spare Part team is the organization’s worldwide supplier of spare parts and service engineers for service, warranty, and commissioning jobs.
The job
To secure future growth according to our strategy, we are looking for an ambitious and detailed Aftersales Coordinator that can drive spare parts sales through multiple sales channels globally.
As our new Aftersales Coordinator, you will be a part of a great team in the expansion and development of the spare part sales with huge growth potential. You will be located regionally in DESMI’s Global Spare Part team in Nørresundby, Denmark, and together with an experienced team, you will drive the global spare part sales to the next level. You will have reference to the Global Spare Part Manager in Poland. You will be in regular contact with your colleagues from both Denmark, Poland, India and America. Moreover, you will cooperate daily with customers and colleagues from all over the world, as DESMI’s Global Spare Part team is handling spare parts and pumps on a global level.

As an Aftersales Coordinator you will take part of the responsibility for our spare parts and replacement pumps’ sales globally, directly with the ship owner or through our agents and distributors.
Key responsibility areas:

• Handling spare parts and pump inquiries from our customers by emails and phone
• Configurating centrifugal pumps, gear pumps and third-party pumps
• Preparation of quotes and orders for spares and pumps
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for their aftersales needs.

• Technical support and active cooperation with Sales Offices in DESMI group
• Customer assistance in obtaining appropriate products according to customer needs
• Cooperating with internal DESMI support departments for servicing customers the best possible way

Your profile
The position requires high communication skills in English and technical understanding. Overall, the position requires a service minded and solution-oriented personality, with skills and ability to work across borders and communicate with both sales and internal support Teams in the company. Furthermore, you may have experience with in-direct sales through a network of sales representatives, agents, and distributors.
Knowledge of any additional language such as French, German or any other Scandinavian language will be an asset.

• Strongly customer-oriented person
  
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in aftersales coordination or a similar role, preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sector
• Ability to work in an international organization where personality and honesty are important
• Proficiency in ERP systems and good computer literacy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Fluent communication in English (orally and in writing)
• Service minded and solution-oriented personality
• Experience within pump technology will be an advantage.

Expected travel days pr. year
No travel required, but could potentially be 5-10 days travelling within the EMEA region.
