Would you like to play a key role in the expansion and development of a company with huge growth potential within the field of green energy transition? Would you like to contribute to a sustainable shipping industry by supporting and optimizing the delivery of high-quality pump solutions? We expect significant growth in the coming years and are looking for an ambitious and experienced Application Manager who can join the New Green Solutions team and help us meet customer demands.

New Green Solutions was established early 2024 and is DESMI’s incubator for new products and business development within the green energy transition. We work mainly with flow technology solutions for the new fuels being adopted by the global shipping industry, as well as flow technology solutions for Power-to-X and Carbon Capture.

As our new Application Manager, you will collaborate closely with our sales, project management, and technical teams to ensure smooth transitions from sales to delivery, including product documentation, quality control, and systems management. You will be instrumental in implementing and maintaining key systems such as CRM, ERP, and product management tools, ensuring that all processes are well-documented and efficient.

To thrive as an Application Manager, you should have:
  • A solid technical or engineering background that enables you to understand and manage complex systems.
  • Experience with product management and sales support processes, ideally within a technical or industrial environment.
  • An organized and proactive approach to managing multiple tasks and priorities, ensuring smooth handovers and the effective implementation of tools like CRM and ERP.
We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented and excels in both technical and administrative aspects of product management. You should be ready to contribute to a highly dedicated team, bringing a collaborative mindset to ensure the successful execution of projects and the satisfaction of our customers. A deep understanding of technical documentation, quality control, and product lifecycle management is essential, as is the ability to work across departments to drive process improvements.

Application Manager Responsibilities
In this role, you will manage the transition of sales activities to project execution by preparing handovers that ensure smooth coordination between departments. You will act as the CRM key user, continuously improving and maintaining our sales tools in collaboration with the product management and sales teams. On the product management side, you will take responsibility for our fuel and cargo pump offerings by maintaining documentation, managing BOMs, updating ERP systems, and ensuring that price books, manuals, and quality control processes are accurate and up-to-date. You will also engage in technical negotiations and provide training and support to internal and external stakeholders

This position will report to the Commercial Director in New Green Solutions, DESMI Pumping Technology A/S in Nørresundby, Denmark, but will be part of a larger, international organization with the opportunity for global collaboration.
