You will become part of a creative global procurement team covering electricals components for the Vestas Service Business globally. You will be reporting to the Procurement Manager of electrical components for service business in Vestas, located in Aarhus, Denmark
Responsibilities
Your everyday activities will be characterized by high speed and the requirement to engage in, direct and prioritize between multiple critical projects. Overall expected deliverables include:
- Develop and implement strategy and roadmap for the Electricals commodity
- Drive and coordinate cross-functional projects within Electricals
- Global lead on annual negotiations, optimizing the supply base and our supply chain
- Build a close relationship with key suppliers in the commodity, focusing on long-term value delivery through supplier account management and partnerships
- Take full responsibility to oversee and coordinate Electricals E2E optimization projects
- Work closely with the matrix regional organization on strategy execution
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with strategic procurement
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering
- Experience with handling large yearly procurement budgets
- Advanced IT skills (proficient with Microsoft Office Package, especially MS Excel and MS Power Point)
- Experience in the wind industry is advantageous.
- Fluency in English
