This is a unique opportunity for you to be part of the Ambu sourcing process in an exciting role as Category Manager for Sourced Products. We are looking for a new colleague to join us on the journey of growing and improving Global Procurement.

You will be a member of the Corporate Procurement team, which comprises of experienced and dedicated colleagues with a broad background within procurement. You will report directly to the Head of Direct Spend & Finished Goods and you will work out of our headquarters in Ballerup.
Key responsibilities

Lead, develop, manage and execute on sourcing, category and supplier management strategies to deliver value, ensuring
- Supporting the Global Procurement Strategy
- Analyzing categories, spend patterns, global trends, global supply market, cost drivers, should-cost, and potential synergies across sites
- Risk management
- Prepare and conduct RFI/RFP/RFQ
- Prepare and conduct negotiations
- Driving contract and system implementation
- Overseeing, monitoring, expediting and reporting supplier and contract performance
- Report and follow-up on results
- Build and sustain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Continuous process and category improvements, including identifying synergies across Ambu's supplier portfolio
- Support Ambu's ESG and sustainability agenda
- Acts as a strategic partner for the business and ensure high professional standards
- Enforce adherence to Ambu quality processes
- Be disruptive and challenge the status quo while mitigating risk
Basic Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, Business or Finance
- Min. 4 years of global category management experience within a global organization. Experience within medical devices would be a benefit, although not a must
- Proven in-depth knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles and best practices
- Experience with procurement systems (ERP, Spend analytics, e Auctions, Contract Management etc.)
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive self-starter with an ability of managing, executing and successfully delivering on several projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset
- High drive, motivation and accountability
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is essential
