We are experiencing massive success, and we are currently looking for a new Team Manager for our Ballerup Test and Verification Team. You will be a part of our global Test and Verification Management team with team managers from Denmark, Germany and Malysia. We strive to have our Test and Verification teams working very closely together as one team which means that you will have very close collaboration with the team managers in Germany and Malaysia.

Your role in the team

Our team specializes in test and verification of medical devices mainly within Image testing, Electrical testing and mechanical testing.

As a team manager for the Ballerup test and verification team, your role is to staff the ongoing projects and support the team members with directions and sparring within their tasks in product development projects from early prototype development to launch of new products. Your team will be responsible for all stages of test and verification including planning and documentation of verification activities according to FDA and ISO standards.

Your main areas of responsibility will be:

• People management for Ballerup Test and Verification Team, hereunder people development

• In collaboration with the global test and verification Team Managers ensure correct staffing of projects

• Close collaboration with the project managers to understand the resource needs project timelines etc.

• Liaise with key stakeholders across global Ambu sites which relates to test and verificaiton activities, resources and management.

• Driving and supporting strategic initiatives within test and verificaiton

You will need to be prepared to travel approximately 5-10 days per year, primarily to our sites in Malaysia and Germany.

Suggested candidate profile

• Carry an engineering degree and have some knowledge of test and verification in the medical device industry
• Have experience in team leadership and people development – characterized by an empathetic and have an authentic leadership style
• Carry strong teamwork capabilities and interpersonal skills – with a curious mindset and willingness to learn
• Have great communication skills, to effectively communicate across cross-functional teams.
• Are proactive and driving your work independently, but you also work well in cross functional teams.

Given the global context of the role, English capabilities, written and oral, are crucial.
