Ambu

Talent Attraction Partner

Ballerup

FULL TIME

October 25, 2024

Attracting and retaining the right Talent is one of Ambu’s key strategic pillars to deliver on our company growth plans. In order to do so, we need help from top Talent Attraction performers who can be trusted advisors to our Leaders, identify & attract the most appropriate profiles and play an important part in Ambu’s longer term projects to improve our Talent Attraction efforts.

Reporting into the Global Head of Talent, you will form part of a global team, all working together to drive the TA agenda across Ambu. Each Partner has a primary focus on specific functions and/or geographies to ensure a high degree of specialisation, and your focus area will be the R&D organisation. Through the professional network you will establish across the function, you will become a key player in ensuring the continued growth and development of our organisation.
In this role, you will be given full ownership of the end-to-end recruitment processes. It will be your responsibility to help Leadership identify their true capability needs, create and effective sourcing strategy, as well as support on interviews in the later stages of the process. You should expect to approach passive candidates proactively as part of some of your sourcing strategies. Further, you will drive execution of the overarching Talent Attraction strategy within your function.
You will be based in Ballerup, Copenhagen, mainly focusing on Recruitments for our Headquarter, although the role is part of a very international setting.

Key responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Acting as a Recruitment Business Partner to Leadership within your geographical focus: identifying hiring needs, reaching out to candidates, supporting during interviews and finally at offer stage.
  • Using creative, multi-channel sourcing strategies to approach the right candidates for Ambu proactively
  • Participating in interviews, specifically giving feedback on psychometric and cognitive assessments
  • Acting as a true champion of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion throughout your role, ensuring a broad range of cognitive diversity and true environment of inclusion throughout the business
  • Owning longer term improvement projects within the R&D function, e.g. related to Employer Branding, Recruitment Marketing, Talent Pipelining or Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
  • Play an active part in the continuous improvement of the TA team through sparring with colleagues, ensure process improvement, translating metrics to tangible actions, among other things.

Suggested candidate profile

Skills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you have some or all of the following:
  • Several years experience in a Recruitment function, ideally both via an internal TA team and as an external head hunter
  • Previous experience recruiting across multiple Engineering functions, ideally in a regulated industry
  • Strong active sourcing experience and a proactive nature to filling positions as efficiently as possible, without compromising on quality
  • Strong stakeholder management skills: You feel comfortable using your knowledge and market data to advise Managers on suggested Recruitment approaches, even if you disagree with them
  • Preference for highly varied and dynamic work environment: No two days are the same, so you preferably enjoy a broad range of tasks, from analytical to more interpersonal
  • Strong prioritisation skills and high sense of urgency: You will join a high energy and fast paced culture. You will most likely enjoy working here if this is something which gives you energy, and you feel comfortable managing expectations and having high autonomy in your time management
  • Strong analytical skills: Talent Attraction is a value adding business to the function. As a team, our decisions are rooted in data, and you enjoy taking a similar approach to ensure the best possible ROI for the organisation
  • You are likely to settle in well if you have worked in an international environment before, and would like to continue to do so in the future

If you have any questions about the position, you are welcome to contact Ida Matthiesen, Global Head of Talent, via Linkedin
