We are seeking a visionary Head of Global Finance Processes to join our dynamic team during an exciting period of change.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for optimizing financial processes, ensuring the effective deployment of existing finance systems while at the same time collaborating with key stakeholders to define the system roadmap for Ambu’s future process model. You will work closely with Financial Shared Service (FSS) team to drive standardization, automation, and harmonization across finance relevant business processes.

Key responsibilities

In this role, you will lead and develop a team of finance process and system specialists, focusing on enhancing global financial processes. Reporting to the Vice President of Global Finance & Accounting (F&A), you will be an integral member of the Global F&A leadership team, which includes eight members.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Finance Systems Management

• Lead the change in optimizing and maintaining our finance systems.
  

• Ensure seamless integration with other business systems.
  

• Manage the complete finance digital product roadmap, delivery, value realization and cost savings.
  

Process Optimisation and Standardisation

• Continuously improve financial processes with the team and FSS.
  

• Develop and implement standardised financial procedures across entities.
  

• Align global financial process with our strategy goals and ensure thorough documentation.
  

Technology and Innovation

• Design and drive implementation of software and tools to enhance efficiency incl. support for ERP system implementation.
  

• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
  

• Lead automation and digitalization initiatives to automate, including AI and Microsoft Copilot.
  

Project Participation and Management

• Participate in cross-functional projects, providing financial insight.
  

• Ensure team adherence to Quality Systems incl. Test Management.
  

• Collaborate with project teams to meet finance requirements and achieve deliverables.

• Significant experience in Finance, with a strong understanding of Global Finance Process models
  

• Extensive experience in multinational environments, with expertise in Change Management.
  

• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  

• Participated in transformational projects involving finance business processes.
  

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  

• Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Microsoft Excel) and ideally also experience with implementation of ERP systems
  

• Strong business acumen leveraging existing and new process design by highly effective and collaborative mindset when engaging with Lo B and other supporting functions
  

• Successfully leverage technologies to gain process efficiencies.
  

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams
  

• Strong prioritization, cultural awareness, and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
