Are you brimming with creative ideas and eager to provide Nordic consumers with everyday products packaged in smart, irresistible designs? We are looking for a talented and passionate Creative Lead at Coop Trading A/S – could that be you?

Are you an expert in design development and ready to be part of the creative driving force in our Design Development team, where we inspire our partners and colleagues with commercial and creative ideas?
We're looking for a Creative Lead with the experience to build strong brands fit for the world of tomorrow.

Your key responsibilities:
As a Creative Lead you work in the intersection between commercial growth and strong value propositions reflected and supported by the packaging design. This requires strong conceptual and strategic skills, as well as the ability to build a visual narrative and deliver inspiring concepts that bring brand strategies to life.
You will be part of our Design Development team within the business area of Commercial Development.

The tasks in this position are many and varied and will among other things include for you to:

Create high performance packaging design solutions for our Nordic Private Brand portfolio
Ideate new product and design concepts across a wide range of categories
Work independently and as part of a larger team that always strives for seamless collaboration, enabling your colleagues to further develop and implement artworks.
Communicate about conceptual development to inspire and engage your stakeholders
Investigate new opportunities for improving the quality and performance of our packaging designs
Drive the commercial, consumer-oriented approach to design development and identify the value of introducing new tools or platforms for inspiration

To succeed in the role, we imagine that you have:

A minimum of 3-5 years as Art Director, Creative lead or a similar position focusing on FMCG, agency or industry related
Experience with packaging design as a distinct discipline
Effective written and spoken communication skills in English and one of the Nordic languages
Hands-on, strong team player with a positive attitude
Good business understanding and understands the value of collaboration
Strong sense of responsibility and accountability for your work
An ambitious and “one-step ahead” mindset with a desire to make a difference and challenge the status quo
An attentive and informative approach to your stakeholders
A master of Adobe CS and user experience of Office suite

Place of work: Currently, our office is in Taastrup – however, we are moving to new office premises at Vesterbro in January 2025.
