If you would like to be a volunteer and at the same time coordinate the efforts of other volunteers, then you are definitely the person we are looking for.
Care center Birkerødpark is looking for more volunteers - but for us it is important that volunteers feel part of our organization and get the opportunity to develop - just like our other employees.
Therefore, we are looking for a volunteer who would like to be a focal point for other volunteers and of course participate in the events etc. on an equal footing with the other volunteers.
We have a bit of a Pippi approach to this - namely "I've never tried that before, so I'm probably good at it" and that's how you should feel too.
We work based on the idea that we only succeed together - therefore you will also become part of our community here on site.

Tasks:

• Build up our volunteer organization
• Continuous recruitment of new volunteers
• Create "shift plan"
• Act as a link between our departments and the volunteers
• Contact with other voluntary organizations (the cause of the elderly, cycling without age, associations of friends, etc.)
• Find volunteers who can organize and take you on trips out of the house
• Find volunteers who can organize and participate in film screenings, music events and much more
• Find volunteers who like to decorate for Easter, harvest festival, Christmas and much more
• .... or maybe just some of the above tasks ...

Phew - that sounds like a lot of work hours... but fear not! As a volunteer, you will be a highly valued part of all of us out here and we will help you with all tasks. We naturally adapt the amount of tasks to the enthusiasm you bring.
You or other volunteers will never be alone with the responsibility for our residents - there will always be skilled staff present when needed!
... and we unfortunately have other volunteers attached - not as many as we would like - but maybe with your help there will be more.
We all want to have a good time - not least you as a volunteer and our residents.
