The department

In Welltec, cutting-edge technology and global development are high on the agenda, and we are looking for new colleagues within electronic engineering to take this journey to the next level.

At Welltec HQ, you will join our electronic and software (firmware) department situated in our Design & Engineering (D&E) function which currently consists of 33 colleagues with various educational backgrounds and nationalities.

In D&E we work in smaller project groups – Mechanical-, Electrical- and Software/Firmware Engineers together - in order to get a holistic approach to our products and tools and to benefit from each other’s knowledge and expertise. The work environment is informal, creative and fun while it at times can be complex and challenging.

The team that you will join is responsible for the development of Welltec’s proprietary well intervention technologies, which we constantly introduce to the market through our global footprint.

The candidate

You are proactive in your daily tasks and have an analytical and critical approach to problem-solving. You have a quick, creative mind with a natural understanding of complex concepts and systems.
The ideal candidate is someone who gets excited by technology and open-ended challenges as described above. Have interest in working with high power electronics in the k W power range and voltage ranges up to 1500V.
The ideal candidate possesses the following qualifications or similar competencies:
Electronic Engineer, M.Sc., Ph D or similar backgroun

Experience with circuit design, circuit analysis/simulation and PCB design (Or CAD, LTSpice or similar

Experience with design, prototyping and validation of electronics
