Finance & Operations Manager, B&R Denmark

This is our story. Make it your story. Acts as a business partner to the business manager and leads local finance teams to optimize the financial performance within the B&R business in Denmark. In this role, you will provide support to the B&R business in effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to evaluate and translate business strategy into plans and establish measurable targets, evaluate the financial implications of various strategic decisions, identify risks, and recommend actions. This will be a key role in the change management from a Finance and Operations role to a Finance Business Partner role. In the short term, there will be a requirement to oversee the operational aspects of the local B&R business, encompassing the full scope of Operations, including order handling & logistics, legal & integrity, customer and supplier quality, and internal processes, ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, and integrity standards.

Your role and responsibilities

• Lead financial strategic analysis for the B&R Denmark business unit and serve as the key strategic partner for the business leader. • Translate strategy into business plans and establish measurable targets. • Oversee business planning and forecasting processes. • Drive profitable growth and evaluate financial implications of strategic decisions. • Monitor progress, provide insights, and support operational decision-making. • Manage cash flow, improve Net Working Capital (NWV), and drive cost structure optimization. • Ensure compliance with corporate standards, implement internal controls, and support audits. • Promote collaboration, organize and develop teams, and ensure adherence to ABB values and ethics.

Qualifications for the role

• Master’s degree, CA, CPA, MBA or similar in Finance with several years of senior Finance experience.
• Proven ability to work with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., tax authorities, government institutions, auditors).
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, collaborative style, and effective communication at all levels.
• Experience with country-specific reporting standards and governance is an advantage.
