The activity level in KIRKBI Legal is increasing, and we are currently seeking a part-time Legal Assistant to support our team with administrative tasks within Real Estate case handling, document control and management/team support.
Broad legal support with versatile tasks
As Legal Assistant you will be part of the legal team in KIRKBI consisting of 11 colleagues supporting KIRKBI and other entities in our eco-system on various legal matters. You will support the two leaders of the legal department with management and administrative tasks and be a key player for the real estate team, supporting the team on very versatile day-to-day tasks which bring you to collaborate across the legal department and other internal and external stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities will be:
  • Case management in connection with the purchase and sale of real estate, including title registration, preparation/review of various contract documents, collection of material, reimbursement statements, etc.
  • Facilitate progress through dialogue and follow-up with insurance, counterparties, the Danish Board of Agriculture, surveyors, estate agents, banks, advisors, etc.
  • Review and quality assurance of legal documents and materials
  • Independent coordination and follow-up of administrative processes including signatures, filings, archiving etc.
  • Coordinate calendars, meetings and activities for the team
  • Ad hoc tasks

Efficient and detail-oriented supporter
The right candidate for this role must master the craft of running and coordinating expeditions and case management in an independent and efficient manner. Your background also includes handling real estate transactions, leases and rentals. Your natural thoroughness and keen eye for detail makes you adept at reviewing documents, inventories and material.

While working structured and independently, you are always ready to support your colleagues and solve urgent ad-hoc tasks. Your empathy combined with a good sense of propriety means that the people you support always receive valuable, discrete, and dedicated support.
You can also identify with several of the following qualifications:
  • Experience as secretary/assistant in a law firm, real estate agency, a bank or other financial institution, a land surveyor's office or similar background
  • Experience with calendar management and planning of team activities
  • Fluent communication skills – both written and verbal – in Danish and English
  • Comfortable with IT tools, including digital registration of titles
This part-time position is based in Billund and expected to be 20-30 hours per week.
