Then, you might be the Legal Counsel we are looking for as our new colleague in our office in Fredericia!

Job description
Monjasa is a leading global partner in the oil and shipping industry who believes strongly in driving Personal Business. We aim to inspire our business partners and become first choice by challenging status quo with our original solutions. We are thus on the lookout for a colleague who can identify with Monjasa’s values and is capable of building strong relations both internally and externally.

As our Legal Counsel, you will become part of a legal team of seven strong professionals located in our offices in Fredericia, Dubai and Panama City. Your main responsibility is to advise the group on legal issues and handle administrative tasks related thereto for the group’s entities. You will provide essential support to our managers, thereby allowing them to focus on the strategic aspects of their work. You are expected to have a solid legal understanding, an analytical mind-set and to work methodically with high quality standards while always focusing on the commercial value of your advice.

In this role you will work very closely with the business, giving you the opportunity to see projects through with a focus on high performance and results. Therefore, it is important that taking ownership of projects and tasks comes naturally to you.

The hiring manager Bo Staal Andersen says about the role: “The legal team in Monjasa is an exciting place to work. We are deeply involved in the heart of our business, dealing with commercial transactions and classic inhouse legal assignments. At the same we are naturally also called upon for new developments such as setting up in new jurisdictions, emissions trading, and other projects with a significant and wider group impact. In this role, and in addition to all this, our new colleague will also work with me on various projects for our Group CEO outside the scope of our core business. This includes things as different as IP rights to international musical productions, M&A activities, and real estate investments. It is a role filled with variety and it offers an excellent opportunity for a legal generalist looking for new challenges in a very exciting environment with great and motivating colleagues.
