It is with our customers that we develop solutions that will benefit society, therefore we are looking for a Market Director to join us as part of COWI's global Buildings, Industry, and Architecture sector.
In this role, you will get the chance to use your drive and creativity to further develop Denmarks urban areas towards a more sustainable future.

You will report directly to the Senior Market Director, Buildings, Industry and Architecture Birgitte Gade Ernst, and be an integral part of the Buildings, Industry and Architecture sector leadership team. As our new Market Director, you will play a critical role in shaping and defining our business development strategies within the Private market in Denmark and collaboration with peers globally.
We are a Business Development team of 25 working alongside our customers on some of Denmarks most significant projects in 7 segments, where you will join and strengthen the private segment with a focus on living and office/domicile projects. We are thrilled to have contributed to projects like Woods Augusthus, Nordbro, Blixens and Bindesbøll Byen.
On a daily basis you will be working out of Arkitemas office in Copenhagen or Aarhus.
Your key responsibilities will be:

Setting business direction and goals in alignment with the overall Group strategy and BU action plans
Stakeholder management – A key part of this role is creating and maintaining strong networks inside and outside of Arkitema and COWI
Ensuring customer satisfaction in the projects within your scope
Owning the budget
Raising and mitigating risks

Experience with housing, retail and office projects
A strong personal network within private developers, pension fonds and contractors in DK
An educational background within architecture and experience working in the private segment
A strategic and outgoing mindset
The ability to navigate in business Danish/scandinavian and English
