We are currently looking for a Pipeline Manager, who wants to be a part of that growth journey by shaping our pipeline of new innovations and solutions. You will be working with our Endoscopy Systems, which is an integral part of our single-use endoscopy solution. Working with our Endoscopy Systems, you will be driving the pipeline for the platform that powers Ambu’s latest imagine capabilities, provide integration to hospital systems, and bring the latest technology to our customers. As our Endoscopy Systems play a crucial role in all our clinical settings, you will also be engaged in cross-portfolio initiatives.

You will work alongside the established team within Endoscopy Systems, while collaborating significantly with colleagues in our other Product Management Teams, Global Portfolio Strategy, R&D and others to ideate and develop a strategic roadmap and pipeline for our portfolio. The role is to ensure that the pipeline of new solutions remains innovative and commercially attractive. Consequently, it is important to maintain a robust understanding of the customer needs, market dynamics, and competitive landscape, as well as scouting new technologies and their potential impact.

You will join an international team with highly dedicated colleagues. The position as Pipeline Manager is based at Ambu’s headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark. Some traveling should be expected as a part of the job.

Position with a huge impact


We are looking for a Pipeline Manager to drive the pipeline for our Endoscopy Systems portfolio. The role is paramount in defining the potential future of portfolio by monitoring the market and technologies, while driving ideation and analysis of potential solutions. You will work closely with our Product Management teams and Global Portfolio Strategy teams, to ensure that we develop full solutions that makes a difference to our customers.

As a Pipeline Manager your responsibilities will include:

• Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitors, adjacencies, and new technologies to identify new opportunities and threats.
• Drive strategic planning, ideation, and management for our endoscopy systems to maintain a strong pipeline for the next 5-10 years, incl. continuous evaluation of strategic avenues.
• Maintaining and continuous refining a strong roadmap by prioritizing pipeline opportunities based on market potential, strategic fit, and commercialization potential across multiple call points.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Global Portfolio Strategy, R&D other stakeholders to utilize the full knowledge of the organization and drive alignment across the business
• Project management of key projects, incl. cross-portfolio initiatives requiring further understanding and analysis

Key competences


To succeed in this position, you need to have a strategic mindset combined with a solid business and technical understanding. You probably hold a degree in healthcare, business, or engineering on a master’s level.

You have experience with pipeline development, strategy, or product management, which enables you to understand and segment a market, assess opportunities and drive towards decisions. As a person you are motivated by having the opportunity to set direction and being the proponent for value creation.

You thrive in driving the long-term roadmap of endoscopy systems, while understanding the implications for all clinical areas through solid collaboration, so we think solutions and not products. Similarly, you preferably have experience working with software solutions and software as a service.

You might have worked in an international role before and have experience from the health care industry. Your experience or skillset enables you to learn, evaluate and adapt fast, enabling you to work both independently and with stakeholders possessing complementary skillsets.

As a person, you have a curious nature, ability to “look ahead” and foresee issues and possibility before they arise, a “can do” attitude and an outgoing personality with excellent cooperation skills. It is natural for you to work and take ownership of a deliverable,
