The position

As the Project Director for our major expansion project in Kalundborg, Denmark, you will play a crucial role in delivering scope and solutions on time and within budget. You will motivate and inspire our engineering partners, contractors, employees, and peers, uniting a diverse group of stakeholders behind a joint plan and collaborating across several disciplines. You can also look forward to:

Overseeing the schedule, cost, risk, procurement, execution, and qualification of all scope elements in large-scale investment projects, including the construction and testing phases of multiple buildings in the Fermentation area.
Managing the scope of the project, including decision-making on changes that may impact the schedule or cost

Supporting the Project Vice President for Fermentation on leadership-related matters and acting as a point of escalation for Senior Project Managers, providing support and calibration.
Defining and developing the project execution team while providing input to the later organization responsible for operations

In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of the project and will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the project are executed effectively.

Qualifications

We realize that few people are experts at everything. But if you can nod your head at the following attributes, then you could be the person we are looking for:

A master’s degree in engineering, supply chain, or a related field.
Extensive experience in managing large-scale CAPEX projects, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector, and experience in leadership.
A track record of building high-performance teams; strong facilitation skills with the ability to set clear direction and priorities.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, as well as fluency in English
