About the Department/Team

The role is based in Hillerød, Denmark and you will report to the Director of Quality Support. The work environment is informal, where we strive to have a lot of fun while we learn and develop.

About the Role

We are looking for a person who can support our quality-related projects preferably with project management experience. This role will be a combination of project management and continuous improvement (CI). The main responsibility will be to act as project manager for Quality initiatives, identified as process or system improvements. The future role may lead to the CI partner role being the primary and thereby supporting the continued journey for FDB’s Quality organization as the CI culture carrier.

It is therefore important that the project manager will be curious to become a CI partner, but experience with CI is not a requirement.

The project manager will be part of the Quality support area but the projects will go across FDBD’s Quality organisation or even support the full site. Any future quality project or CI initiative may also be cross- functional.

Job Responsibilities

Your primary tasks will be:

Project management

Plan, facilitate and lead projects - including stakeholder and change management
Ensure progress and escalation when needed
Ensure sta dardization of workshops and project execution
Ensure communication to Quality Management and other relevant stakeholders (global involvement included)

Optimization of internal processes & Project portfolio overview

Support and lead optimization initiatives in QA support area, or across Quality
Support and establish new or simplified processes

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with the following background and skill sets:

Professional qualifications

Bachelor’s (BA) or Master’s Degree (MSc) in Manufacturing, Technical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Physical, Chemical or Biological Science, or equivalent
Your academic achievements are above average and you can structure complex issues and independently establish solutions.
Good communication skills in English
Good collaboration skills in a very dynamic environment
Experience with continuous improvement (preferred)
Great analytical skills and ability to solve problems.

As a person you have a positive can-do attitude and you are proactive with strong organizational and problem solving skills. You are organized and work efficiently and effectively. You are people oriented and communicate well with different personality types. You are self-motivating and capable of working with a high degree of independence. You take initiative and are comfortable with change management and stakeholder management and will also take the lead whenever needed. You are eager to learn and contribute to achieve results.
